Helen Aarons was the National Partnership Coordinator for the Bureau of Land Management from 2005 to 2010. She co-founded the Managing by Network Course with Liz Madison and Diane Nelson. Helene is featured in the instructional videos: Community Collaboration: Words Matter and Community Collaboration Strategies.

As the National Partnership Coordinator, she provided leadership for BLM partnerships in developing policy direction for state and local partnership implementation and management. She also served as a leader at the BLM, identifying critical technical and administrative challenges associated with implementing community partnerships nationally in collaboration with conservation organizations, Federal and State government, and community and commodity interests.

She has a M.A in Environmental Communication from Antioch University New England and is enjoying her retirement in Colorado.
